Java Backend Developer - Spring Frameworks

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement business logic and service integration leveraging Core Java 8+ features.

- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for efficient data processing.

- Develop DAO layers and manage database transactions using Spring JDBC.

- Collaborate effectively in Git-based version control environments with active pull request and branching workflows.

- Package and build applications using Maven; knowledge of Gradle is a plus.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Work within agile delivery teams, contributing to sprint planning and end-to-end delivery.

- Optionally, work with Docker, Jenkins, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) if experienced.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in Core Java 8+ and Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring JDBC).

- Proven experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Proficient in SQL and relational database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PSQL).

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven; Gradle knowledge is advantageous.

- Understanding of microservices architecture, multithreading, and OOP concepts.

- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus.

- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure) is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Prior experience working on enterprise-grade backend systems in banking or financial services domain.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
