Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based backend development, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD automation.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot framework.

- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

- Work on cloud-native applications, leveraging Azure Cloud services for deployment and management.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.

- Utilize containerization technologies (Docker) and, optionally, orchestration tools like Kubernetes for scalable deployments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve backend systems.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise :

- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer in Java-based applications.

- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.

- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development.

- Experience with containerization (Docker); knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.

- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative software development.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
