Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software development.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Integrate APIs and third-party services for enhanced functionality.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Implement secure coding standards and ensure compliance with system security guidelines.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.

- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

- Proven experience in Microservices-based architecture and RESTful API development.

- Good understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms.

- Solid grasp of software development principles, design patterns, and version control (Git).

- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience in building high-availability, distributed systems.

- Familiarity with performance tuning and application monitoring tools.
