Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java 8/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture, with a solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and DevOps practices. You will work collaboratively in an agile environment to design, build, and maintain scalable backend solutions that power business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Java 8/17 and Spring Boot.

- Build and manage microservices-based architectures, ensuring reliability, fault tolerance, and efficiency.

- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.

- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries for Cassandra, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Splunk, Kibana, or Datadog.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate services into CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Manage source code using Git, Bitbucket, or SVN, ensuring proper version control and branch management.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to

continuous improvement.

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through code reviews, testing, and documentation.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and front-end teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools, including AI-assisted development tools.

- Java 8/17 development Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience.

- Spring Boot framework Minimum 5 years of strong experience.

- Expertise in Microservices Architecture and service orchestration.

- Strong experience with at least one NoSQL/SQL Database Cassandra, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB (minimum 3 years).

- Log analysis and monitoring using Splunk, Kibana, or Datadog.

- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent) and Shield pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with Git, SVN, or Bitbucket for version control.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Exposure to AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine).

- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with performance tuning, security best practices, and API Gateway management
