We are looking for a talented Java Backend Developer with a strong foundation in microservices architecture and hands-on experience in Spring Boot and Azure cloud platforms. You will be instrumental in building scalable, cloud-native backend solutions that power high-performance applications for global clients.

Job Title : Java Backend Developer - Microservices (Spring Boot + Azure)

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Experience : 5 to 8 years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Spring Boot-based microservices on Azure.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

- Leverage Java 11+ features including Streams and Functional Programming.

- Containerize applications using Docker; orchestrate with Kubernetes.

- Integrate Apache Kafka for messaging and event-driven architecture.

- Model and manage data in PostgreSQL or equivalent SQL databases.

- Ensure code quality with JUnit, mocking frameworks, and API automation using Cucumber.

- Collaborate across QA, DevOps, and product teams to support CI/CD pipelines.

- Work with Couchbase or other NoSQL databases as required.

- Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices.

Required Skills :

- Proficient in Java 11+, Spring Boot, and microservices design.

- Strong experience with Azure Cloud deployment and services.

- Hands-on with Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes.

- Solid understanding of Kafka, PostgreSQL, and data modeling.

- Experience with unit testing (JUnit) and mocking tools.

- Exposure to API test automation using Cucumber or similar.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.

Nice to Have :

- Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., Azure Developer Associate)

- Experience with Couchbase or other NoSQL databases.

- Exposure to AWS or GCP.

- Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
