Primary Job Responsibilities :

- Design and develop public APIs, adhering to industry best practices and internal standards.

- Work on major features from the design phase through coding, testing, deployment, and support.

- Build micro web services and GraphQL based API based on the industry standard and best practices.

- Migrate data storage codebase from using Oracle relational databases to using cloud based distributed storage solutions.

Job Requirements :

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent professional experience

- 3+ years of software design and development experience, tackling non-trivial problems in backend services and / or data pipelines

- Experience in designing and developing distributed systems.

- Expertise and hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Data Structures, XML, REST, JSON, and Internet Protocols.

- Proficiency in Java programming language with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and a solid understanding of multithreading, synchronization, and concurrent programming. A deep architectural understanding of system design and the ability to complete projects with minimal direction.

- Solid knowledge and experience with relational databases, OR mapping and NoSQL data technologies.

- Experience in micro web service development.

- GraphQL experience is a plus
