Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Java AWS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java backend expertise, cloud-native development experience, and a solid understanding of distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot / Spring Cloud

- Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS

- Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven services

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment

- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams

- Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and performance

- Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, and fault tolerance

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

- 5-8+ years of experience in Java backend development

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway)

- Strong experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API design standards

- Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
