Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java API Cloud Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing APIs using Java in a cloud-native environment. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure services in the cloud, with hands-on experience in containerization and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Java in a cloud environment

- Work with containerization tools like Docker for application packaging and deployment

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions

- Ensure code quality and performance through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing

- Integrate APIs with front-end systems and other backend services

- Monitor and maintain cloud-based services, ensuring high availability and scalability

- Follow Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java and API development

- Experience in cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS or Azure is

also acceptable

- Proficiency in Docker and other containerization technologies

- Good understanding of microservices architecture and deployment in cloud environments

- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks
