Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java & Oracle ADF Developer (710 years) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Oracle ADF framework, and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Oracle ADF, enterprise application development, and reporting tools like Jasper Reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop enterprise applications using Java & Oracle ADF framework.

- Create and maintain ADF Business Components (Entity Objects, View Objects, Application Modules).

- Develop user interfaces using ADF Faces components and ADF Task Flows.

- Implement business logic and data validation rules with ADF BC.

- Design and develop reports using Jasper Reports.

- Configure and maintain application servers (Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly).

- Integrate applications with MySQL databases and web services.

- Handle build and deployment processes (Maven/Ant).

- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Debug and resolve production issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, Developers).

- Provide technical and project documentation.

- Participate in all phases of the SDLC.

Technical / Functional Competencies

Core Technical Skills :

- 6-8+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle ADF framework.

- Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies.

- Strong knowledge of ADF Business Components and ADF Faces Rich Client.

- Expertise in ADF Task Flows (bounded/unbounded).

- Proficiency in MySQL database design, queries, optimization.

- Experience with Jasper Reports (design, development, integration).

Application Server & Build Experience :

- Hands-on with Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly server deployment.

- Skilled in Maven/Ant build automation.

- Experience with CI/CD processes, clustering, and load balancing.

Additional Technical Skills :

- Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

- Experience with JDeveloper IDE.

- Understanding of REST/SOAP web services.

- Version control systems (Git/SVN).

- Familiarity with MVC architecture.

- Performance tuning & optimization.

Database Skills :

- Strong MySQL administration experience.

- Complex SQL queries, stored procedures, optimization.

- Database backup & recovery knowledge.

Reporting Skills :

- Advanced Jasper Reports design & customization.

- Experience with sub-reports and JasperReports Server.

- Integration of reports with web applications.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication & collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities.

- Strong documentation & attention to detail.
