About the Role :

Vikgol is looking for a talented and experienced Java + AWS Developer to join our Mobility Engineering team. You'll work on solving complex, real-world problems in the mobility, safety, and convenience services space alongside a highly collaborative team of software engineers, data scientists, and product owners.

This is a high-impact role where youll help design and build scalable microservices using modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs using Java

- Develop and maintain microservices architecture and integrate with AWS services

- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code

- Use AWS technologies like Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB to build resilient systems

- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning

- Own the deployment process using CI/CD pipelines

- Collaborate closely with product owners to understand business requirements

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software components

- Work in an Agile environment focused on continuous delivery and feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 - 10 years of hands-on software development experience

- Proficient in Java and modern Java frameworks

- Strong experience in AWS services : Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture

- Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and modern software delivery practices

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice to Have :

- Experience working in startup or product-led environments

- Exposure to mobility or transportation domains

- Passion for building scalable cloud-native applications
