Job Description CRM Engineering Manager :

We are looking for a seasoned CRM Engineering Manager to lead the development of our next-generation CRM platform - designed for scalability, security, and global reach. You will head a team of backend engineers, driving technical excellence and delivering complex, high-performance CRM modules that serve enterprise clients across multiple regions.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in PHP, preferably with Symfony (preferred) or Laravel, along with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, database architecture, and secure coding standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing CRM engineering team of backend / frontend engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable features.

- Define and drive career growth paths, continuous learning, and skill enhancement initiatives within the CRM team.

- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership across the engineering function.

- Own end-to-end technical delivery of CRM modules, customizations, workflows, and integrations.

- Ensure adherence to code quality standards, object-oriented design principles, and secure coding practices (OWASP compliance).

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Customer Success, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps to drive smooth, high-quality releases.

- Manage system upgrades, deployments, and performance optimization across CRM environments.

- Oversee data modeling, schema optimization, and query performance in MySQL for large-scale, multi-tenant environments.

- Implement and manage internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) capabilities to support global markets.

- Drive CI/CD practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain version control best practices.

- Partner with the Security and Cloud Infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and ISO/IEC 27001 standards.

- Manage sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives within Scrum & Agile frameworks.

- Evaluate, adopt, and implement emerging CRM technologies and tools to enhance platform efficiency and user experience.

- Drive automation and AI-driven CRM enhancements, including predictive analytics and intelligent workflows.

- Act as a bridge between the CRM engineering function and business stakeholders to ensure technical alignment with customer engagement objectives.

- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies effectively to senior leadership and product teams.

Required Technical Skills :

- PHP with Symfony (preferred) or Laravel framework

- Exposure to front-end frameworks (React)

- MySQL (strong RDBMS fundamentals, query tuning, and schema design)

- Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC, REST APIs, and modular design

- Git, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins

- Hands-on experience implementing secure coding practices and mitigating vulnerabilities

- Experience in i18n and l10n implementations in SaaS products

- Hands-on experience in developing integrations using REST APIs, microservices.

- Proven track record in delivering high-scale SaaS Enterprise solutions and managing complex integrations with ERP, Marketing, and Support systems.

- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to drive consensus across technical and non-technical teams.

Desired/Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to front-end frameworks (React)

- Exposure to data warehousing, analytics, or customer data platforms (CDPs).

- Strong expertise in one or more CRM platforms preferred.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical discipline.

- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in an engineering management role

- Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise-grade CRM or SaaS applications

- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring teams
