About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated ETL Informatica Developer to join our dynamic data engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
You will collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other technical teams to ensure smooth data integration, transformation, and delivery across systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various source systems (databases, flat files, APIs, etc.) into target data warehouses.
- Perform data analysis to identify data quality issues and ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
- Develop and maintain Oracle SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries for data extraction and validation.
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for large-scale data loads.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of ETL solutions in production environments.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and provide effective data integration solutions.
- Document ETL workflows, technical specifications, and data flow diagrams for future reference and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with ETL development using Informatica (PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and dimensional design.
- Experience with performance tuning of ETL workflows and SQL queries.
- Good knowledge of data quality and validation techniques.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting for automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Informatica Administration, workflow scheduling, and job monitoring tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
