Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) Operations professional to manage and support IT asset lifecycle activities across the organization. The role involves maintaining accurate asset records, coordinating asset-related processes, ensuring compliance, and providing operational support for IT asset management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations and processes.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset records, inventory, and configuration data.

- Manage the complete asset lifecycle, including procurement, receiving, deployment, transfers, maintenance, and retirement/disposal.

- Perform asset reconciliation, inventory validation, and data quality checks.

- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, procurement, and other stakeholders for asset-related activities.

- Monitor and resolve asset-related incidents, requests, and operational issues.

- Ensure IT assets are properly tracked and assigned to users, locations, and departments.

- Support software and hardware asset management activities and compliance requirements.

- Prepare operational reports and dashboards related to asset inventory, utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status.

- Identify discrepancies in asset records and take appropriate corrective actions.

- Support ITAM audits, compliance checks, and periodic asset reconciliation.

- Follow defined ITAM processes, SOPs, and organizational policies.

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve ITAM processes and operational efficiency.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in IT Asset Management / ITAM Operations.

- Good understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycle management.

- Experience with asset inventory, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting.

- Good understanding of CMDB, Configuration Items (CIs), and asset data.

- Experience working with ServiceNow ITAM or similar IT asset management tools is preferred.

- Good knowledge of ITIL processes.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage operational activities.

Preferred Skills :

- ServiceNow ITAM / HAM / SAM experience.

- Knowledge of CMDB and Discovery.

- Experience with asset audits and compliance.

- Understanding of procurement, vendor management, and IT asset disposal processes.

- Experience in enterprise IT operations environments.
