Job Description : IT Tester (Software Quality Assurance)

Location : Chennai

Experience : Minimum 3 years

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Manual & Automated Testing : Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Bug Tracking : Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.

- Collaboration : Work with developers and business analysts to ensure software quality.

- Test Automation : Implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Security & Compliance : Ensure applications meet security and compliance standards.

- Reporting : Provide detailed test reports and recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Test case design and execution.

- Bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

- Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.

- SQL knowledge for database testing.

- API testing using Postman.

- Agile/Scrum development experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing (AWS/Azure).

- Familiarity with security testing.
