Working Days : 5 Days Working | 2 Fixed Weekly Offs

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced IT Team Lead to lead and mentor technical teams, manage delivery operations, and ensure smooth execution of projects and day-to-day technical activities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong IT delivery - software engineering background, proven team leadership experience, and the ability to manage priorities, resolve technical issues, and effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, manage, and mentor technical teams to achieve business and project objectives.

- Manage team workload, priorities, resource allocation, and deliverables.

- Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

- Resolve technical, operational, and delivery-related issues effectively.

- Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Track project progress, identify risks or dependencies, and drive timely resolution.

- Support team members in troubleshooting complex technical and operational challenges.

- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the team.

- Conduct regular team reviews and provide guidance for individual development.

- Ensure adherence to defined processes, delivery standards, and Agile practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10 - 15 years of overall IT experience with a strong software engineering - IT delivery background.

- Proven experience in technical team leadership and people management.

- Strong understanding of Agile - Scrum methodologies.

- Experience managing workload, priorities, resources, and project deliverables.

- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop technical team members.

- Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a UK shift environment.
