IT Operations Manager (For our Client) :

Location : Gurugram, Haryana

Experience : 8 to 12 Years

Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee enterprise infrastructure, data center, and security operations. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure high availability of IT services, and lead incident, change, and risk management while maintaining strong governance, security, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage enterprise data center operations, including servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and infrastructure monitoring.

- Ensure high availability of IT services through SLA management, capacity planning, preventive maintenance, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Lead incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL best practices.

- Coordinate security operations, including EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, email security, and SOC/MSSP collaboration.

- Drive operational governance through dashboards, ticket management, SLA tracking, risk reviews, and performance reporting.

- Maintain operational risk registers and support audit readiness for ISO 27001 and internal compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Application, and external vendor teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

- Continuously improve operational processes through automation, documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and standardization.

Required Skills :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Enterprise IT Operations.

- Hands-on experience with Data Center Operations, Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Storage, Backup, and Infrastructure Monitoring.

- Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.

- Experience with Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, EDR/XDR, and SOC coordination.

- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, system hardening, patch management, and disaster recovery.

- Experience creating operational dashboards, SOPs, runbooks, governance reports, and performance metrics.

- Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- ITIL Foundation certification.

- Exposure to ISO 27001, SIEM/SOAR, Microsoft Security technologies, or automation using PowerShell/Python.

- Experience in disaster recovery planning and infrastructure resilience.

- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or Privileged Access Management (PAM).

Preferred Industry Experience :

Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial, or Engineering organizations will be an added advantage.
