Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Migration Engineer to lead end-to-end IT infrastructure migration and data center transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in server infrastructure, virtualization, networking, cloud platforms, and enterprise migration projects, with the ability to coordinate complex migration activities while ensuring minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure migration projects, including office relocations, site migrations, data center migrations, and server room transitions.

- Develop migration strategies, cutover plans, risk assessments, rollback procedures, and implementation schedules.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors, infrastructure teams, and project managers to ensure successful migration execution.

- Install, configure, rack, stack, and provision enterprise servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.

- Perform physical-to-virtual (P2V) and virtual-to-virtual (V2V) migrations while ensuring business continuity.

- Configure and validate backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions before migration activities.

- Implement infrastructure security standards, hardware lifecycle management, and compliance requirements.

- Manage Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and system issues during migration and provide hypercare support after deployment.

- Maintain technical documentation, migration runbooks, asset inventories, and operational procedures.

- Support planned migration activities during weekends or off-business hours as required.

Required Skills:

- 7-10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Data Center Operations, or Infrastructure Migration projects.

- Hands-on experience with enterprise servers such as Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant.

- Strong knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN and NAS.

- Experience configuring enterprise networking devices such as Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet or Palo Alto).

- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere virtualization and P2V/V2V migrations.

- Strong administration experience with Windows Server and Linux.

- Experience with Active Directory, Okta, SSO, and MFA integration.

- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring, Google Cloud Interconnect, and Google Distributed Cloud (Anthos).

- Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and infrastructure security best practices.

- Strong project coordination, vendor management, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications are preferred.

Education (Mandatory):

- Full-time B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MS, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
