IT Head

Role : Head- IT

Reporting Structure : Reports to VP - Project Management

Education : Bachelors in engineering; Masters in Engineering Degree preferably CS/EC; MBA in Systems or equivalent desirable

Experience/ Qualifications :

- 20-22 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure

- Experience with managing of minimum 25-member team.

- Hands on Experience in :

1. Server Management includes K8s, DevOps

2. RH Virtualization, clustering & cloud platform

3. LAN/WAN network implementation & security

4. Productivity tools RPA, MAM/MDM, O365

5. Infra Security & Monitoring

- Identify opportunities, apply and automate AI/ML solutions across infra/business functions & operations

- Candidate is expected to perform to carry out 30% of their responsibilities in an individual contributor capacity, while the remaining portion involves overseeing a high-performance team.

- Manage IT Infrastructure setups included Network support & operations. Corporate office setups and expansion plans.

- ISO 27001 Certification implementation and BCP/DR best practices to maintain committed Uptime.

- Establishing in Secure PROD & Non-PROD environment environments.

- Setting cloud (private & public) and Virtualisation infrastructure to support organisation IT infrastructure needs.

- Exposure to budget, public procurement for IT hardware, software & product purchase and implementation.

Industry : Preferably from a Technology, ITES, Shared Services or Banking organization

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for heading IT business unit.

- IT infra and Cloud COE operations

- Assessing an organizations technology needs and making upgrade recommendations.

- IT Assets Management (Hardware & Software) & Procurements.

- ISMS Security compliance and ISO certification sustenance

- Managing IT infra for Development & production environments, Problem & capacity planning

- Network support & security operations compliance.

- Setting short- and long-term IT implementation goals

- Planning and directing new hardware and software deployments

- Protecting sensitive data, systems, and applications from external threats

- Calculating the costs of current and future IT systems

- Managing other IT professionals, guiding IT teams to perform their role closely with their other Business units and Verticals and other senior-level executives to ensure all business-critical systems operate efficiently.

- To develop specialized data security and information management policies that can help mitigate a wide range of cybersecurity risks, from malware

- Strong communication skills with ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with stringent timelines

- Escalate issues and risks and proactively takes ownership for resolution

- Track milestones and deliverables and provide regular status reporting to all levels of stakeholders.

- Vendor & program Management for IT infrastructure projects and rollouts

- ISMS best practice adherence Incident, change and problem Management.
