Job Title : Head of IT

Location : Delhi

Experience : 15 - 25 Years

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned IT leader to head our technology function, with proven expertise in managing large-scale IT infrastructure, data centres, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise-wide cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to modernize IT systems, strengthen security frameworks, and drive innovation that aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

- Define and execute the organizations IT strategy in alignment with business goals.

- Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve scalability, agility, and efficiency.

- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Infrastructure & Data Centres :

- Oversee end-to-end management of data centres (on-premise, cloud, hybrid) ensuring uptime, scalability, and performance.

- Optimize IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.

- Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Cybersecurity & Compliance :

- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect digital assets.

- Establish data privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (ISO, GDPR, etc.).

- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate IT security risks.

Hardware, Networking & Operations :

- Manage enterprise-wide IT hardware, networking, and communication systems.

- Drive standardization and optimization of IT assets and vendor management.

- Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Digital Transformation :

- Champion automation, cloud adoption, and modernization of legacy systems.

- Collaborate with business leaders to integrate digital tools across departments.

- Enable analytics, AI/ML, and IoT adoption where relevant to business needs.

Leadership & People Management :

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Strong background in IT infrastructure management, data centre operations, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance.

- Hands-on knowledge of networking, hardware, and enterprise IT systems.

- Proven success in leading digital transformation programs.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Certifications preferred : CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, PMP, CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure certifications.

- 15- 25 years of progressive IT leadership experience
