Position summary :

The Engineering Manager Applications, Integrations & AI Solutions will lead the technical delivery and execution of the organisation's internal digital products, enterprise applications, AI-enabled solutions, integrations, dashboards, workflow automation initiatives, and business technology platforms.

Reporting directly to the Group CTO, this role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions while managing engineering execution, technical quality, vendor coordination, architecture implementation, release management, and AI-assisted software development practices.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both people management capability and the ability to personally design, build, review, troubleshoot, and deliver production-grade software solutions when required.

Key responsibilities :

- Own delivery scope, timelines, dependencies, and execution quality across all application and integration projects

- Drive release planning and prioritisation in alignment with business roadmaps

- Conduct architecture and technical design reviews ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability

- Champion and drive AI-assisted software development practices across the engineering team

- Partner with business stakeholders and technology vendors to define requirements and ensure delivery excellence

- Support production applications and ensure operational continuity with robust monitoring and governance

Required experience :

- 5-7 years of progressive software engineering experience

- Minimum 2 years in an engineering leadership or team management capacity

- Demonstrable experience in enterprise application delivery end-to-end

- Vendor management and third-party technical oversight experience

- Strong hands-on engineering background with ability to contribute directly to codebases
