iSteer - Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Role Overview :

We are looking for a backend-focused Java Developer who can build robust, maintainable, and scalable RESTful services using Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build scalable microservices and ensure system integration with external APIs.

- Collaborate with QA, frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery cycles.

- Apply performance tuning and monitoring practices for optimal backend behavior.

- Participate in architecture design discussions and continuous refactoring.

Required Skills :

- Excellent programming skills in Java 8+ and experience with Spring Boot ecosystem.

- Understanding of Microservices, REST, JSON, and API security.

- Experience in working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Hands-on with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Agile methodologies.

- Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD tools preferred
