Ishan Technologies - Scrum Master

Job Description Overview :

The Scrum Master coordinates, coaches, and supports product development or software teams in applying the Scrum framework.

This role ensures cohesive teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to Agile values while promoting a productive, self-organizing team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies : Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.

- Guide and coach teams on Scrum practices, ensuring adoption of Agile methodologies.

- Remove impediments to team progress, enabling continuous delivery of value.

- Support the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the backlog.

- Encourage collaboration, effective communication, and transparency within the team and with stakeholders.

- Track progress and help teams deliver sprint goals in alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvementdriving retrospectives and implementing process enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.

- Strong knowledge of Scrum techniques (user stories, definition of done, backlog refinement, etc.)

- Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.

- Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
