Isha Foundation - Data Analyst - Dashboard Design

Key Responsibilities :

- Sales & Inventory Data Management: Generate and analyze POS reports, track inventory movement, highlight discrepancies, and support decision-making.

- Inventory Audits: Design standardized audit formats, coordinate execution with field teams, validate

inputs, and ensure timely completion.

- POS System Coordination: Act as the liaison between business and IT teams to troubleshoot, resolve system issues, and implement enhancements.

- Geo-Spatial Data Analysis: Interpret field data (e.g., tree-planting and survival rates) to measure ecological impact and suggest improvements.

- App Development Support: Partner with IT teams to enhance mobile and web-based data capture tools used by field operations.

- MIS & Dashboards: Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards/reports for leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.

- Process Automation: Identify opportunities for efficiency using scripting, APIs, and automation tools.

Skills & Competencies :

- Proficiency in SQL and DBMS.

- Experience with Google BigQuery, Google Sheets/Excel (advanced), and Looker Studio for dashboards.

- Knowledge of Google AppSheet and Google Apps Script for app development and workflow automation.

- Python skills for data analysis, scripting, and automation.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

- Strong collaboration skills to work across IT, operations, and field teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.

- Experience handling geospatial data using tools like QGIS, ArcGIS, or Google Earth Engine.

- Exposure to agriculture, environmental sustainability, or field data collection projects.

- Familiarity with retail/POS/inventory management systems.

- Knowledge of APIs, JSON, XML, and integrations for connecting systems.

- Experience in data visualization and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI desirable in addition to Looker Studio).

- Understanding of cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.

Technical Skills :

- SQL (queries, optimization, joins, stored procedures)

- Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn for visualization, automation scripting)

- Google BigQuery (data warehousing and analytics)

- Google AppSheet & Apps Script (workflow automation and mobile app development)

- Looker Studio (dashboarding and reporting)

- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas)

- Geospatial tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine)
