Role Overview :
As a Developer Enablement Engineer, you will act as the bridge between core infrastructure and the development team, focusing on optimizing the software development lifecycle.
You will work closely with software engineers and quantitative researchers to build, maintain, and improve the tools, environments, and CI/CD pipelines that power our trading systems.
Your primary impact lies in reducing friction for developers, ensuring that our high-performance codebases are deployed efficiently, tested rigorously, and monitored effectively to maintain a competitive edge in the markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of trading applications.
- Develop and maintain internal tooling and automation scripts that simplify environment provisioning and troubleshooting for the engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks in the development workflow and implement scalable solutions to enhance overall productivity.
- Manage containerization and orchestration strategies to ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to provide developers with actionable insights into system performance and stability.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in Linux system administration and shell scripting, with a deep understanding of performance tuning and system internals.
- Proven ability to manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms to streamline software delivery cycles.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python or C++ to build automation tools and integrate various development services.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to manage complex application deployments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and efficient engineering culture.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, combined with the ability to thrive in a high-intensity, collaborative work environment.
