Role Specification :
We are seeking experienced Edge Networking Engineers to deliver site-level Layer 2 access, distribution switching, wireless, and NAC infrastructure as part of a large-scale corporate divestiture programme. The role is responsible for designing, building, migrating, and separating edge network services across a large estate of office, production, and broadcast environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Site Edge Switching: Design and deploy Layer 2 edge switching stacks, migrate existing configurations, and configure distribution layer switching.
- Production & Broadcast Edge Networks: Deliver edge switching for media production platforms, storage, and transcoding infrastructure.
- Meraki SD-WAN, LAN & Wireless: Deploy and migrate Meraki MX SD-WAN appliances, MS switches, and MR wireless access points.
- Wireless (Wi-Fi): Configure wireless infrastructure using Meraki or Juniper Mist, and support survey activities.
- Network Access Control: Configure 802.1X wired authentication policies integrated with Cisco ISE.
- Collaboration: Work with core routing, automation, and platform teams to deliver changes via CI/CD pipelines.
Tech Stack :
- Switching: Cisco Catalyst 9000, Nexus, Meraki MS.
- Wireless: Meraki MR, Juniper Mist.
- NAC: Cisco ISE.
- Automation: Python, Terraform, Git, GitHub, YAML, JSON, Jinja2.
- Tools: Ekahau, Nautobot, Confluence, Jira, Miro.
What we're looking for :
- 8 to 10 years of experience in network engineering.
- Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
- Proficiency in Meraki SD-WAN and wireless deployments.
- Experience with 802.1X and NAC platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with CI/CD pipelines.
- CCNP Enterprise or equivalent certification is desirable.
