About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Lead with strong expertise in Microservices, Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, hands-on technical capability, and proven experience leading teams to deliver complex solutions within defined timelines. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams, driving design discussions, ensuring code quality, and mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of Java-based microservices and enterprise applications.

- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams.

- Drive best coding practices, performance optimization, and high-quality deliverables.

Development & Architecture :

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices using Core Java (Java 11/17), J2EE, and Spring Boot.

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.

- Work with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka-based architectures.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and solution blueprints for complex business requirements.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Architecture teams to ensure smooth delivery.

- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation, and release cycles.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting :

- Investigate and resolve technical issues through debugging, log analysis, and research.

- Identify system bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions.

- Ensure application reliability, stability, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-15 years of hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.

- Strong proficiency in :

1. Core Java (Java 11 or 17)

2. J2EE, Spring Boot

3. JUnit for unit testing

- Working knowledge of :

1. Node.js

2. Maven, GitHub/BitBucket for version control

- Good understanding of :

1. RESTful Services

2. RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ

3. JSON, GraphQL

4. Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis (added advantage)

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong experience in leading teams, mentoring developers, and driving timely delivery.
