Role : Teamcenter solution Architect

Experience : 7 +yrs

Location : Chennai

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and design end-to-end Teamcenter PLM architecture aligned with business and IT strategies.

- Lead the implementation and customization of Teamcenter modules such as BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Active Workspace, Change Management, and Structure Manager.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable PLM solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams during solution implementation.

- Develop and maintain integration strategies with ERP, CAD, MES, and other enterprise systems.

- Ensure system performance, scalability, and security through best practices in architecture and deployment.

- Conduct solution reviews, gap analysis, and propose enhancements to improve system efficiency.

- Support data migration, system upgrades, and environment management.

- Create and maintain architectural documentation, solution blueprints, and technical specifications.

- Stay updated with the latest Teamcenter releases, features, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in Teamcenter PLM, with at least 3+ years in an architect or lead role.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Teamcenter Unified Architecture

2. BMIDE configuration and customization

3. Active Workspace (AWC) customization

4. Workflow and Change Management

5. CAD integrations (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.)

6. ERP/MES integrations

- Proficiency in Java, ITK, SOA, RAC, and TCL scripting.

- Experience with Teamcenter deployment on cloud or hybrid environments is a plus.

- Solid understanding of PLM concepts, product data management, and engineering change processes.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
