Job Description

Key Responsibilities :


- Develop, configure, and maintain Polarion ALM solutions tailored to business needs.

- Customize workflows, dashboards, user interfaces, and templates within Polarion.

- Integrate Polarion with other enterprise tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, Git, DOORS, PLM systems) to streamline engineering processes.

- Implement traceability matrices, test management, and compliance support features in Polarion.

- Work closely with engineering and QA teams to align Polarion setups with project methodologies (Agile, V-model, etc.).

- Develop and maintain custom extensions, scripts, and APIs for enhanced functionality.

- Provide technical documentation, user training, and ongoing support to internal teams.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.

- Collaborate with Siemens support or vendors as needed for upgrades and complex issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Polarion ALM development and administration.

- Strong experience in XML, JavaScript, Velocity templates, and Polarion APIs.

- Experience integrating Polarion with tools like Jira, Git, or CI/CD systems.

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ALM/PLM processes.

- Familiarity with test management, requirements traceability, and change control workflows.

- Good knowledge of software configuration management and release processes.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Have :


- Experience in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.


- Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or other compliance standards.

- Experience with Java, Python, or other scripting languages for integration.

- Exposure to Siemens Teamcenter, Codebeamer, or other ALM/PLM platforms
