Position : Lead ABAP Consultant.

Minimum Experience : SAP ABAP Experience 10+ Years.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.

- Assign tasks and manage the workload of the ABAP team to ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

Development & Technical Design :

- Analyze functional specifications provided by the SAP functional teams and translate them into technical specifications.

- Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEF), and workflows.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to custom ABAP developments.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with SAP functional teams (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, etc.

) to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of custom developments with business processes.

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.

Project Management :

- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.

- Manage the technical aspects of SAP projects, ensuring that development timelines and quality standards are met.

- Support SAP upgrades, patches, and migration projects, including ECC to S/4HANA conversions.

Presales, Solution & Build :

- Develop key differentiators for SAP S/4HANA conversion from ECC to S/4HANA.

Lead projects from the ABAP side, including :

- Migration/Conversion from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

- Grow with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Implementation.

- Rise with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield.

- BTP, or any SAP product integration.

- Third-party integration with SAP Integration Suite.

- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Typical Duties :

- Perform work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules, personally handling complex system analysis and programming tasks.

- Plan, assign, and supervise the work of an assigned team engaged in ABAP programming, design, testing, and debugging work for SAP modules.

- Confer with management and functional teams to ensure the proper integration of business processes with information technology.

- Define complex technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality to meet requirements and improve system efficiency.

- Maintain effective working relationships with process owners, functional and technical team members, and users.

Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, including ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of developers.

- Deep understanding of SAP modules and integration points.

- Proven track record in project management and the successful delivery of SAP projects
