Job Title : QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Location - 100% Remote (Pune)

Experience - 8+ Years

Shift Timing - 5 :30 PM to 2 :30 AM (IST)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and/or Python, along with a strong understanding of modern testing practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium

- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using TypeScript or Python

- Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines

- Identify, report, and track defects effectively

- Ensure test stability and reduce flaky test cases

- Participate in code reviews and improve testing best practices

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Playwright or Selenium

- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python

- Solid understanding of automation frameworks (POM, BDD, etc.)

- Experience with API testing and UI testing

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Good knowledge of test case design and defect tracking tools

- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow)

- Knowledge of performance testing tools

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
