The Role and Impact :

Seeking a Cloud Automation/Deployment Engineer with 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, and automation.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployment platforms, infrastructure automation, observability, and release management for cloud and edge solutions.

This role is part of Intel Corporation, a global leader in technology innovation. You will join a team focused on security and software development within Intel's Client Computing Group (CCG).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement security features for cloud stacks using modern software development practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and address cloud security challenges.

- Develop, integrate, and review cloud hosting solutions with a focus on continuous security hardening.

- Work with container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker to ensure secure and efficient cloud deployment.

- Implement security across applications, integrations, databases, and processes using technologies like SAML, JWT, OAuth, SSL, and mTLS.

- Manage and secure Linux operating systems, including CentOS and Ubuntu.

- Document risks, security controls, and evidence to meet compliance standards.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud software development.

- Alternatively, a Master's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD in a relevant field.

- Proficiency in full-stack development with Core Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

- Strong knowledge of container technologies, including Kubernetes and OpenShift.

- Expertise in cloud hosting and infrastructure security.
