Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced InstallShield Developer with strong expertise in application packaging, deployment automation, and installer development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in InstallShield, PowerShell scripting, along with the ability to troubleshoot and streamline enterprise deployment processes.

Core Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong expertise in InstallShield (Basic MSI & InstallScript projects)

- Advanced PowerShell scripting (automation, deployment, configuration)

- Solid experience in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core

- In-depth knowledge of Windows Installer technologies (MSI, MST, MSP)

- Strong troubleshooting skills (logs, registry, dependency analysis)

- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration

Additional Advantage (Good to Have) :

- Experience with SCCM / Microsoft Intune for enterprise deployments

- Knowledge of code signing, certificate management, and release processes

- Understanding of Windows internals and system architecture

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain installation packages using InstallShield (Basic MSI & InstallScript projects).

- Configure and manage MSI, MST, MSP packages for application deployment and upgrades.

- Develop and implement custom installation logic using InstallScript, C#, and PowerShell.

- Automate deployment, configuration, and release activities using advanced PowerShell scripting.

- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues by analyzing logs, registry entries, and system dependencies.

- Integrate installer builds into CI/CD pipelines for automated packaging and deployment.

- Develop and maintain custom actions (DLLs, scripts) for enhanced installer functionality.

- Ensure compatibility across different Windows OS environments and configurations.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to enable smooth software releases.

- Perform versioning, patching, and upgrade management for application installers.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for packaging and deployment processes.

- Handle code signing and secure distribution of installation packages.
