InnovationM - Senior Software Engineer - Node.js

Project Overview :

Role and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript.

- Build and manage RESTful APIs for application features and third-party integrations.

- Design and optimize database schemas and queries using any relational or NoSQL database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.

- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases.

- Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.

Requirements :

- Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript development.

- Hands-on experience with REST API development using frameworks like Nest.JS or Express.js.

- Experience with any database : MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or equivalent.

- Understanding of MVC or service-based architecture.

- Familiarity with authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, etc.).

- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

- Basic understanding of cloud deployment and CI/CD is a plus.
