We are looking for an experienced and proactive Engineering Manager to lead and scale our high-performing engineering team.

-12+years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years in an engineering leadership role.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a talented engineering team.

- Manage team performance and conduct quarterly appraisals.

- Handle resource planning and hiring initiatives.

Agile & Delivery Management :

- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

- Plan and manage sprints and releases.

- Monitor team velocity and sprint metrics.

- Ensure timely delivery of features and adherence to roadmap commitments.

- Allocate tasks and manage workload balance.

Hands-On Technical Oversight :

- Be hands-on in relevant technologies and assist in firefighting when required.

- Enforce coding standards and development best practices.

- Oversee code reviews to maintain high technical quality.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Coordinate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

- Manage discussions around bugs, issues, and technical fixes.

Solution Ownership :

- Take responsibility for overall tech delivery.

- Manage solution architecture ensuring scalability and performance.

- Facilitate demos, Proof of Concepts(PoC), and Technology Evaluations (TeC).

- Support DevOps and deployment processes.

Strategic Alignment :

- Ensure technical decisions align with architectural and business objectives.

- Proactively remove impediments and support continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 12+years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years in an engineering leadership role.

- Strong expertise in Data Analytics, AI/ML, Big Data technologies.

- Proven experience managing Agile software teams and delivering complex products.

- Strong technical background and ability to contribute to architecture driving regular code reviews and coding standards.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong background in on-premises infrastructure.

- Designing and deploying scalable microservices architectures.

- Adept at driving CI/CD pipeline development, Docker containerization, and modern DevOps practices to accelerate deployment cycles and enhance system reliability.

- Sprint planning, roadmap ownership, and effective stakeholder communication.

- Proven track record of delivering robust backend solutions and guiding teams through complex technical transformations, particularly in data-intensive and performance-critical environments.

Technical Expertise Includes :

- Python Ecosystem : Django, Flask, FastAPI.

- Databases : NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra), Elasticsearch, Neo4j.

- Infrastructure & Tools : Docker, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Kubernetes (on-prem & hybrid), Prometheus.
