Infrastructure Head - IT Automation

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation & Optimization Specialist with strong expertise in the Banking domain to lead and manage large-scale infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure management, automation strategies, optimization frameworks, and branch infrastructure operations within banking or financial institutions.

The role requires a highly analytical and technically strong professional capable of driving infrastructure modernization, improving operational efficiency, ensuring system reliability, and implementing scalable automation solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise infrastructure solutions for large-scale banking environments.

- Lead infrastructure automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and system reliability.

- Develop and implement automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, deployment, and maintenance activities.

- Optimize infrastructure performance, capacity utilization, and operational processes across branch and enterprise environments.

- Manage and support large-scale branch infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability and seamless business continuity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network, security, application, and operations teams to drive infrastructure transformation initiatives.

- Ensure infrastructure compliance with banking security standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor infrastructure health, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive optimization measures.

- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives including virtualization, cloud adoption, and automation-driven operations.

- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical infrastructure issues with minimal business impact.

- Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure governance reports.

- Support disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and infrastructure resiliency initiatives.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Infrastructure Management within Banking or Financial Services domain.

- Expertise in Infrastructure Automation and Optimization practices.

- Hands-on experience managing large-scale branch infrastructure environments.

Strong understanding of :

- Servers and Data Center Infrastructure

- Network Infrastructure

- Virtualization Technologies

- Cloud Infrastructure

- Infrastructure Monitoring & Management Tools

- Experience with automation tools and scripting technologies.

- Strong knowledge of infrastructure security, governance, and compliance standards.

- Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery environments.

- Exposure to enterprise infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.

Domain Expertise :

- Strong Banking domain experience is mandatory.

- Understanding of branch operations, banking infrastructure architecture, and enterprise IT operations.

- Experience working in mission-critical and highly regulated environments.

Educational Qualification :

- B.Tech / M.Tech (Mandatory)
