Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure, servers, networks, cloud environments, and related systems. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience in maintaining highly available and secure infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain servers, operating systems, networks, storage, and IT infrastructure.

- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security.

- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers.

- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Implement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Troubleshoot system, network, application, and infrastructure-related issues.

- Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks using scripting and automation tools.

- Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent.

- Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure.

- Implement security best practices, patching, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.

- Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

- Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution.

- Ensure infrastructure availability, scalability, performance, and reliability.

- Collaborate with development, security, database, and application teams.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server administration.

- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewalls, and networking concepts.

- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP infrastructure.

- Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Splunk, or equivalent.

- Good understanding of storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

- Scripting experience in Shell, PowerShell, or Python.

- Understanding of infrastructure security, patch management, and access management.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

- Knowledge of cloud networking and security.

- Experience with high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures.

- Knowledge of ITIL and incident/change/problem management processes.

- Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure, Linux, VMware, CCNA, or Kubernetes are an advantage.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, system administration, cloud, or DevOps engineering.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
