Role Overview :
This role requires a strong understanding of various integration patterns, protocols, and data mapping techniques to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Integration Solution Design & Development :
- Develop and configure various adapters including File, JDBC, SOAP, REST, RFC, IDoc, JMS, SFTP, OData, etc.
- Map data between different formats using Graphical Mapping, XSLT, and Java Mapping.
- Implement complex integration patterns and error handling mechanisms.
SAP CPI Focus :
- Utilize various CPI adapters, Message Mappings, Groovy Scripts, and Exception Handling.
- Manage and monitor iFlows in CPI.
Troubleshooting & Support :
- Monitor integration landscapes to ensure high availability and performance.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integration scenarios.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential integration bottlenecks.
Collaboration & Documentation :
- Create detailed technical design documents, mapping specifications, and test plans.
- Participate in system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure all integration solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP integration technologies and roadmaps.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Integration, with a strong focus on SAP PI/PO and/or SAP CPI.
For SAP PI/PO :
- Proficiency in all components of SAP PI/PO (ESR, ID, Runtime Workbench/PI Monitoring).
- Experience with different adapters (File, JDBC, SOAP, REST, RFC, IDoc).
- Strong expertise in Graphical Mapping, XSLT mapping, and UDFs.
- Knowledge of ABAP Proxies and Web Services.
For SAP CPI :
- Proficiency in using various CPI adapters (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba, SFTP, SOAP, REST,
OData).
- Experience with Groovy Scripting for complex logic within iFlows.
- Understanding of security artifacts in CPI (Keystore, User Credentials, OAuth).
- Solid understanding of various integration patterns (Synchronous, Asynchronous, Publish-
Subscribe).
- Experience with different communication protocols (HTTP/S, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, REST, JDBC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical
concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :
- Experience with other integration tools or platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services beyond CPI.
- Familiarity with APIs and API Management concepts.
- Experience in an Agile development environment
