Position Details :

Position : SAP ABAP Consultant

Location : Pune, India

Experience : Minimum 4+ Years in SAP ABAP

Qualification : B. Tech./BE/MCA or equivalent in a relevant technical field

Key Responsibilities :

The SAP ABAP Consultant will be a crucial member of our technical team, responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of SAP applications. Key responsibilities include :

- Development and Implementation : Perform hands-on development using ABAP RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects to meet business requirements.

- Project Execution : Participate in all phases of the SAP project lifecycle, including a minimum of one complete end-to-end SAP implementation project.

- SAP HANA Development : Develop and optimize ABAP code utilizing ABAP on HANA techniques, including AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and CDS Views (Core Data Services) to leverage the performance of the HANA database.

- System Upgrades and Migration (Preferred) : Assist in technical planning and execution of SAP S/4HANA upgrades or migration projects.

- Modern SAP Technologies : Utilize and develop with additional SAP technologies such as SAP Fiori, OData services, Webdynpro, SAP Workflow, and Webservices to build modern and integrated solutions.

- Technical Documentation : Create comprehensive technical specifications, unit test plans, and other project documentation.

- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand detailed functional/technical specifications and translate them into robust technical solutions.

- Support and Maintenance : Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability and performance of SAP applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Mandatory : Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience as an SAP ABAP Developer or Consultant.

- Core ABAP : Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience with ABAP RICEF objects (classical and object-oriented ABAP).

- HANA Proficiency : Proven knowledge and practical experience with ABAP on HANA, AMDP, and CDS views.

- Project Experience : Must have experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation.

- Certification/Experience : SAP S/4HANA certification in the relevant module OR a minimum of 1 year of demonstrable experience on the SAP S/4HANA platform.

- Additional Skills (Strongly Preferred) : Experience with SAP Fiori, OData, Webdynpro, SAP Workflow, and Webservices.

- S/4HANA Project Experience (Highly Preferred) : Prior experience participating in S/4HANA system upgrades or migration projects.
