Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter to join our Data Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows and ensuring smooth data operations across multiple business systems. This role requires hands-on experience with data integration, data transformation, and troubleshooting within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

ETL Development & Data Integration :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to support various data integration and transformation needs.

- Build efficient mappings, sessions, workflows, and data pipelines to ingest, process, and deliver high-quality data.

- Ensure ETL jobs are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Data Operations & Maintenance :

- Monitor daily ETL jobs, identify issues, and perform prompt troubleshooting and resolution.

- Maintain and support existing data workflows and enhance them based on evolving business requirements.

- Work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.

Quality Assurance & Performance Optimization :

- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing for ETL components.

- Optimize ETL performance by tuning mappings, improving workflow design, and refining database interactions.

- Ensure adherence to data quality, data governance, and security standards.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including BI analysts, DBAs, application developers, and business users.

- Document ETL processes, data flows, mappings, and operational procedures.

- Provide production support on a rotational basis as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience as an Informatica Developer.

- Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter (mandatory).

- Experience in building, scheduling, and optimizing ETL processes.

- Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving ETL and data-related issues.

- Experience working in structured, enterprise-level data environments.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with job schedulers such as Control-M or Autosys.

- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices.
