Informatica Batch Support Engineer - Power Center

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Batch Support Engineer to join our production support and operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Informatica PowerCenter, SQL/PLSQL, and Unix/Linux scripting, with a focus on monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing batch processes in large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor and support Informatica batch jobs, ensuring timely and successful execution of data workflows.

- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.

- Work with Informatica PowerCenter, SQL/PLSQL, and Unix/Linux to support ETL processes and optimize performance.

- Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure stable production environments.

- Perform incident, problem, and change management activities using tools such as ServiceNow.

- Utilize Control-M (or other job scheduling tools) for job automation, monitoring, and dependency management.

- Participate in release and deployment activities, including post-release validation and issue tracking.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Technical Skills & Expertise :

Primary Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (design, execution, and debugging).

- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis, issue diagnosis, and query optimization.

- Good knowledge of Oracle databases and Unix/Linux scripting for automation and monitoring.
