Role Overview :

The Python Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable Python-based applications and platforms. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can architect robust solutions, guide development teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality and high-performance software delivery. The position plays a critical role in setting coding standards, improving system performance, and driving best engineering practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Development :

- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications using Python.

- Architect and implement backend systems using frameworks such as Django and Flask.

- Review code for quality, performance, security, and adherence to best practices.

- Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of applications.

Team Leadership & Mentoring :

- Mentor and guide developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

- Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, and support team skill development.

- Assist in task estimation, sprint planning, and delivery commitments.

Collaboration & Solution Design :

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.

- Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Quality, Testing & Deployment :

- Ensure implementation of automated testing, debugging, and error-handling practices.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for Python applications.

- Identify and resolve production issues with effective root-cause analysis.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Explore and adopt modern Python libraries, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution quality.

- Contribute to AI-driven, data-intensive, and modern technology applications where applicable.

- Continuously improve development processes, performance benchmarks, and system architecture.

Experience Required :

- 6+ years of professional experience in Python development, including experience in leading or mentoring development teams.

- Proven track record of delivering scalable backend systems in enterprise or product-based environments.

- Hands-on experience in performance optimization, debugging, and handling complex production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django and/or Flask.

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration patterns.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native application design.

- Knowledge of high-performance computing, system optimization, and scalable architecture.

- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.

Education :
