Job Description :

We are looking for a Golang Lead / Senior Backend Engineer with strong backend expertise and proven team leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-performance backend systems while mentoring and leading a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of scalable backend services using Golang

- Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of backend developers

- Architect and implement microservices-based systems

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs

- Work extensively on Linux-based environments

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes

- Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL / MySQL / NoSQL

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git

- Ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and security

- Monitor applications and perform performance tuning and troubleshooting

- Collaborate with product managers, frontend teams, and DevOps for end-to-end delivery

- Enforce best practices in coding, security, and system design

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of backend development experience with strong Golang expertise

- Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture

- Experience with REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL / MySQL / NoSQL databases

- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools

- Strong knowledge of performance optimization, security, and monitoring

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability architectures

- Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
