Mid-Level Data Analyst

Overview :

The Mid-Level Data Analyst will provide advanced data analysis and reporting support to the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable insights.

The role involves leveraging analytical and visualization tools such as Python, R, PowerBI, and Apache Superset while ensuring strict adherence to established processes around data hygiene, data integrity, data freshness, and data security.

The analyst will also contribute to reporting enhancements and process improvement initiatives to support business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Handle complex ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to convert recurring requests into permanent, scalable data pipelines.

- Lead the exploration and assessment of data availability, data structures, and metadata to support analytics development and evolving organizational requirements.

- Recommend and implement best practices to maintain high standards of data freshness, accuracy, consistency, and hygiene across reporting and analytical outputs.

- Collaborate closely with data engineering teams on data lifecycle management, pipeline optimization, and data readiness for analytics consumption.

- Work with security and governance teams to ensure appropriate role-based access control (RBAC) and WC3 compliance for data access and reporting.

- Utilize Python and R to perform advanced data analysis, data validation, and insights generation in support of business decision-making.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerBI and Apache Superset to present insights in a clear, structured, and actionable manner.

- Support and mentor junior analysts by providing guidance on analytical approaches, data validation practices, and reporting standards.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, analytical workflows, and documentation.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, with exposure to handling complex datasets and reporting requirements.

- Advanced proficiency in Python and R, including the use of relevant data analysis and data science libraries.

- Strong hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as PowerBI and Apache Superset.

- Solid understanding of data hygiene, data integrity, data freshness, and reporting best practices.

- Experience working with MongoDB and participating in ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data findings into meaningful insights for stakeholders
