Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Wi-Fi Protocol Engineer with strong expertise in IEEE 802.11 wireless technologies, MAC and PHY layer architecture, Wi-Fi drivers, and advanced enterprise Wi-Fi features. The ideal candidate should possess deep protocol knowledge, hands-on debugging experience, and a strong understanding of Wi-Fi roaming, security, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot IEEE 802.11 wireless networking solutions.

- Work extensively on 802.11 MAC and PHY layer architecture, protocol behavior, and packet analysis.

- Debug and optimize Wi-Fi driver issues across Linux and embedded platforms.

- Analyze Wi-Fi connectivity, roaming, authentication, throughput, latency, and interoperability issues.

- Investigate and resolve wireless protocol issues using packet captures, logs, and debugging tools.

- Collaborate with firmware, driver, networking, and system software teams to improve wireless performance.

- Validate Wi-Fi features across enterprise and consumer networking environments.

- Support interoperability testing with multiple Access Point vendors and client devices.

- Participate in feature development, protocol enhancements, and root cause analysis for customer-reported issues.
