Job Description :

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Batch 5.x.

- Design and implement batch jobs using tasklets, chunk processing, listeners, retry, and skip mechanisms.

- Implement GDG management and file-versioning for batch processing workflows.

- Develop REST APIs for batch job execution, monitoring, and management.

- Implement JPA/Hibernate solutions with Oracle and H2 databases.

- Use ChatGPT, Cursor AI, and GitHub Copilot for legacy code modernization, debugging, and development.

- Apply prompt engineering for legacy code conversion and validate AI-generated code for quality and correctness.

- Lead a team of 3 - 5 developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Mentor developers on Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch and conduct technical knowledge-transfer sessions.

Skillset :

- Strong hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot 3.x for developing enterprise-grade applications.

- Comprehensive experience with Spring Batch 5.x, including tasklets, chunk-oriented processing, listeners, job parameters, and execution contexts.

- Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate with practical experience working with Oracle and H2 databases.

- Hands-on experience with GDG management and file versioning for enterprise batch-processing applications.

- Strong understanding of batch processing patterns, including tasklet-based and chunk-based processing.

- Experience developing REST APIs using Spring Boot for batch job triggering, monitoring, and management.

- Strong knowledge of error handling, retry mechanisms, skip policies, exception handling, and batch job recovery.

- Practical experience using ChatGPT, Cursor AI, and GitHub Copilot for software development and modernization activities.

- Understanding of prompt engineering techniques for legacy code analysis, conversion, modernization, and code generation.

- Experience with AI-assisted code validation, debugging, refactoring, and problem-solving while ensuring code quality and enterprise standards.

- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive code reviews and enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices.

- Experience leading a team of 3 - 5 developers and providing technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to coach junior developers on Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Java, and enterprise development practices.

- Experience conducting technical training, knowledge-transfer sessions, and mentoring programs.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
