Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, and REST APIs.

- Build scalable APIs for product modules, integrations, analytics, and AI-enabled features.

- Participate in technical design discussions with the Technical Lead and engineering team.

- Convert product requirements into APIs, database changes, services, and implementation tasks.

- Integrate third-party APIs and external systems.

- Integrate AI/ML APIs, LLM APIs, Google Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI, or similar platforms where needed.

- Implement business logic, validation, error handling, audit logs, and background processing.

- Optimize MySQL queries, indexes, and database performance.

- Write clean, maintainable, testable code.

- Participate in code reviews and support engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing product improvements.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.

- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.

- Strong MySQL experience, including schema design, queries, indexes, and performance tuning.

- Strong REST API development experience.

- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.

- Experience integrating third-party APIs.

- Practical exposure to AI APIs, LLM APIs, Google Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI, or similar platforms.

- Strong understanding of backend design patterns and clean code practices.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and Agile development.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Angular or frontend collaboration.

- Experience with predictive analytics or workflow automation.

- Experience with queues, schedulers, batch jobs, or asynchronous processing.

- Experience working with distributed teams.
