Job Title : QA Manager (Manual Testing)


Location : Pune (On-site)


Experience : 8+ Years


Department : Quality Assurance


Roles & Responsibilities :


- Lead, mentor, and guide the QA team to ensure smooth project delivery.


- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of testing activities.


- Establish testing standards, best practices, and quality processes.


- Define and manage end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test cycles.


- Review and validate test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.


- Oversee functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.


- Work closely with product owners, developers, and project managers to clarify requirements and expectations.


- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.


- Ensure defects are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently.


- Monitor and improve QA processes for better efficiency and reliability.


- Implement continuous improvement practices within the QA function.


- Maintain clear documentation for test cases, results, and processes.


- Prepare QA metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership review.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 8+ years of experience in manual testing, with at least 2- 3 years in a managerial/lead role.


- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.


- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.


- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


- Knowledge of API testing, SQL, and basic automation concepts is a plus.


Nice-to-Have Skills :


- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)


- Experience in performance or security testing


- Certification like ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent
