Incedo - Senior Python Developer - Django/FastAPI

Description :

Key Project Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python-based applications

- Build and integrate RESTful/graphQL APIs and backend services

- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources

- Implement basic AI/ML features using existing tools and libraries

- Integrate AI services such as chatbots, recommendation engines, or text-processing APIs

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability

- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and frontend teams

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Python development (46 years)

- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI( preferrable) , Django, Flask

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms

- Experience building and consuming RESTful/ GraphQL APIs

- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases

- Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems

Basic working knowledge of AI/ML tools and libraries, such as :

- NumPy, Pandas

- AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, or similar services)

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or chatbot development

- Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Understanding of model deployment or MLOps concepts

- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
