Description :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring-based frameworks while ensuring high performance, data integrity, and system reliability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC

- Develop, test, and consume RESTful APIs and microservices

- Work extensively with Oracle databases including PL/SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, and query optimization

- Integrate and manage data across PostgreSQL and MongoDB

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices

- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance

- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality features

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

- Ensure code quality through reviews, unit testing, and documentation

- Support deployment and production issue resolution

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience Requirements :

- 3- 6 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java and Spring frameworks

- Strong experience with Oracle database development and PL/SQL

- Working experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB

- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices

Skill Sets & Competencies :

- Proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot

- Strong experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA

- Expertise in Oracle database development, tuning, and optimization

- Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB

- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture

- Exposure to Git-based version control systems

- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization concepts

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Good communication skills and ownership mindset
