Idemia - Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Job Description :

- We are hiring for a Senior Java Developer with Cloud at Noida location.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop secure, scalable Java microservices for payment platforms.

- Integrate cryptographic operations within payment flows and tokenization systems.

- Work with EMV kernels, APDU command sets, and card issuance workflows.

- Deploy, manage, and monitor services on Azure/AWS using Kubernetes.

- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).

- Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps teams on design and implementation.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce design patterns, and mentor junior developers.

TECH STACK YOULL WORK WITH :

- Core Development : Java, Spring Boot, Maven, RESTful APIs.

- Security & Cryptography : Symmetric/Asymmetric encryption, secure coding practices.

Cloud Platforms :

- Azure : VMs, Functions, AKS, RBAC.

- AWS : EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda.

Architecture & Design :

- Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns.

Domain Knowledge Required :

- Deep understanding of card tokenization, EMV standards, and APDU formats.

- Experience with payment authorization flows across methods (credit, debit, wallets, NFC).

- Familiarity with ISO 20022 and other financial messaging standards.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE :

- 58 years of backend development experience with strong Java & Spring Boot expertise.

- Proven experience with cryptographic libraries and secure API integrations.

- Hands-on with cloud-native deployment, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Strong knowledge of payment system regulations and standards (PCI-DSS, EMV, ISO 20022).

- Bonus : Experience with HSM integration, token vault platforms, or secure element tech.
